Harbor Room Gloucester Wedding Photography – Andria + Victor

The gentle hum of the motor…waves tapping against the side of the boat… They had the whole harbor to themselves and a world of possibility ahead of them. This was the perfect way to end such an enchanting wedding day. Andria is an actress and Victor grew up in the fishing town of Gloucester, MA, which is where they decided to “tie the knot”. And yes, they literally tied a knot at their ceremony!

After photographing their “Island Engagement,” which was Andria’s inspiration and tells the love story of two people who were shipwrecked, find love on a deserted island and sail away into the sunset (Which was also published!), we were ecstatic to translate our artistic vision to their wedding day.

They said their vows under a castle that overlooks the scenic Gloucester Harbor and had their reception in East Gloucester at the Harbor Room. Their wedding was a beautiful mix of family and friends who came from as far as Austria and Brazil (which made for some entertaining dancing!).

At the end of the wedding they were sent off by their guests, who lit their path with sparklers. Then they boarded a boat which took them for a private cruise around the serene harbor. The last photos you’ll see from the day are of Andria bravely stepping off of the rocking boat onto the rocking dock without knowing whether or not she would be landing on solid ground or taking a swim in the cold, harbor water!

Andria and Victor, may your love shine, eternally.

These photos are breathtaking! What is the location of the castle? We are looking into the Harbor Room for our reception as well, and will be inquiring about your photography also!!

Hello Amanda. Thank you so much for your kind words. The “getting ready” and ceremony were at a private location in Gloucester called “Morning Garden”, which is on Western Ave. This was actually the first time that it was ever used for a wedding! I’d be happy to inquire with them as to whether or not they’re looking to do more weddings. Please e-mail me at hi@amaraphoto.com and we can continue the conversation there. And yes, I’d love to discuss documenting your big day as well! =)
