Gwen and Bogdan chose two locations for their engagement session. The Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, also known as the Boston MFA. These two are a fun-loving, refined pair. Gwen grew up in Western Pennsylvania and Bogdan in the Ukraine but have found Cambridge to be home. The Arboretum was a gorgeous and colorful backdrop to their love. The MFA provided to be an interesting contrast to the Arnold Arboretum. It was quite the process to get the necessary permits to shoot there (getting a $1,000,000 certificate of insurance, buying a shooting permit, registering all of our photo gear, etc), but it was absolutely worth it. We love photographing couples in backdrops that are meaningful to them, and Gwen and Bogdan love the MFA. We’re excited to document their wedding in Western Pennsylvania later this year!
