The gentle hum of the motor…waves tapping against the side of the boat… They had the whole harbor to themselves and a world of possibility ahead of them. This was the perfect way to end such an enchanting wedding day. Andria is an actress and Victor grew up in the fishing town of Gloucester, MA, which is where they decided to “tie the knot”. And yes, they literally tied a knot at their ceremony!
After photographing their “Island Engagement,” which was Andria’s inspiration and tells the love story of two people who were shipwrecked, find love on a deserted island and sail away into the sunset (Which was also published!), we were ecstatic to translate our artistic vision to their wedding day.
They said their vows under a castle that overlooks the scenic Gloucester Harbor and had their reception in East Gloucester at the Harbor Room. Their wedding was a beautiful mix of family and friends who came from as far as Austria and Brazil (which made for some entertaining dancing!).
At the end of the wedding they were sent off by their guests, who lit their path with sparklers. Then they boarded a boat which took them for a private cruise around the serene harbor. The last photos you’ll see from the day are of Andria bravely stepping off of the rocking boat onto the rocking dock without knowing whether or not she would be landing on solid ground or taking a swim in the cold, harbor water!
Andria and Victor, may your love shine, eternally.
Gotta love that wallpaper!
We love how expressive Victor is!

There was no shortage of tears as Victor and Andria shared their vows with each other.
An impromptu karaoke session with the wedding party. “Stand by Me” was the tune!
